Couldn’t recommend more. My furnace went out while I was across the country on vacation. Called Oak Grove in the middle of the night. Never used their services before. Technicians arrived extremely quickly. Owner personally took my phone calls and gave me updates. Everything was very professional. Came home to a warm and clean house. Everyone seemed to go above and beyond. Would definitely use their services again!Posted on Lindsey NowickiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tony and his team were awesome! They were able to get us on the schedule fast and worked with our short timeline. They provided us with electric heaters to use in our home while they installed the new furnace since we would be without heat overnight; that was a nice touch. Customer service was great, workmanship was clean, HIGHLY recommend!Posted on Brian PaulTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The folks at Oak Grove are the best in the business. They did a very professional job installing my new HVAC unit a couple years ago, but what’s even better is the way they stand behind their products and workmanship. Any time I have an issue their team is ready to diagnose and repair (often within hours of calling) with all parts and labor covered under their generous 10 year warranty. Highly recommend!!Posted on Tony RuizTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The greatestPosted on Kimberly ThompsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a great experience. Our water heater got very hot all of a sudden. The owner came and looked at it shut it down and then the next day we had a new one installed. Awesome customer service and very professional people.Posted on Michelle DavisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Always excellent service. No pressure to buy more than you need. Very reliable!Posted on Carol OBrienTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I want to start this review by just saying WOW!!! Oak Grove heating and cooling has gone above and beyond with customer satisfaction. We are adding an addition to our home and with meeting with the owner. We were met with care and understanding of our needs. He made some suggestions and we decided to go with a mini split. Upon him (owner) checking out our current furnace to our house, he found a few major issues. One in which was the carbon monoxide discharge from the furnace pipe was loose and could have leaked into our home. So concerned that he came back the next day and repaired it. So first off if you’re looking for somebody that’s concerned about you and your family‘s well-being this is the company to go with. Second, the workers that have showed up to my house which we have seen numerous because we had decided to do some other things other than just the mini split. We have been met with some of the nicest gentlemen. I think they are the best in the business. Their workmanship, professionalism, and respect for my house says a lot. For everything we have had done I feel the price was very fair.

Oak Grove installed a brand‑new furnace in my Brighton office, and they did a fantastic heating installation job. They guided me through options, kept my place clean, and wrapped it all up in under a day.

When our heater stopped working in Fowlerville during a cold snap, Oak Grove came out right away. The heating repair was quick, price was fair, and now it’s working better than ever.
Installing a window AC in a sliding window requires a vertical installation kit or custom bracket. First, securely mount the AC on the bottom frame using a support bracket. Then, use an accordion panel or cut plexiglass to seal the open space above. Ensure the unit is level and plug it into a grounded outlet. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
A window AC installation kit typically includes adjustable side panels, mounting brackets, insulation foam, and hardware like screws and brackets. Some kits also include weather stripping and sealing tape. These components help support the unit and seal the window to prevent air leaks and water intrusion.
To install a window AC in a wall, you must first ensure it’s a wall-compatible (through-the-wall) unit. Cut a hole in the wall that matches the unit’s sleeve dimensions. Insert the sleeve, secure it with support brackets, then slide the AC into place. Seal gaps with foam insulation and check for proper drainage. Regular window units should not be installed in walls due to airflow and drainage issues.
The cheapest AC installation is usually a window unit or a portable air conditioner. These don’t require professional installation or ductwork and can be plugged into a standard outlet. However, they only cool small areas. For whole-building cooling, mini-split systems without ductwork offer a more affordable option than central air.
Installing central air with ductwork typically costs between $7,000 and $15,000, depending on the size of the building, system efficiency, and ductwork complexity. Labor, materials, and system type (SEER rating, brand) all impact the total cost. Retrofitting ductwork in older buildings will increase the overall price.
